The Astrological Zodiac, also called the Tropical Zodiac, is a complete circle of 360 degrees divided into 12 sectors of 30 degrees, and in each of those sectors we have a zodiac sign.
The zodiac signs are numbered from the vernal point (zero degrees of Aries) and follow one another up to the last degree of the last sign, which is Pisces, ending at degree 360.
Each sign is ruled by one planet or two planets. The ruling planet can be seen as the lord or master of the sign, endowing it with its attributes.
