Fez Whatley, stage name of Todd Alan Hillier, was an American comedian and radio personality best known as co-host of The Ron and Fez Show alongside Ron Bennington, a program that defined talk radio between 1998 and 2015. He began as a producer and contributor on syndicated radio programs, earning recognition in commercial radio before migrating with Bennington through local stations and larger networks, including stints at WNEW-FM, WJFK-FM and XM Satellite Radio.

Over his career, Whatley became known for creating an on-air character that employed effeminate traits, while in his personal life he navigated the complexities of being a publicly gay man. In 2012 he publicly announced his homosexuality, a subject that intersected with his audience and with the character he had developed over decades.

His career was also marked by serious health episodes, including multiple heart attacks and cardiac interventions, which affected his professional activity and led to his retirement from radio in 2015. Fez Whatley died in 2021 of heart failure, leaving a legacy in American radio as a controversial and influential figure in the era of comedic talk shows.
