About

Geoffrey Blancaneaux is a French professional tennis player, best known for winning the junior title at Roland-Garros in 2016. Developed in the youth ranks and trained at INSEP, he drew international attention by defeating Félix Auger-Aliassime in the Paris final, becoming the first Frenchman to win the Roland-Garros junior title since 2004 and one of the few French junior Grand Slam champions in recent decades.

After turning professional in 2016, Blancaneaux built a solid record on the Challenger and Futures circuits, collecting several wins at those levels and claiming titles in places such as Hammamet, Opatija and Monastir. He won notable Challengers in Maia (2021) and New Delhi (2024), and has remained competitive on both clay and hard courts.

On the main tour he has played in Grand Slam events and ATP tournaments, advancing through qualifying at Roland-Garros and the US Open and contesting his first ATP main draw in Sofia. His career combines strong Challenger results with efforts to establish himself on the higher-level tour, marking him as a player in progress on the contemporary French tennis scene.
