John Neschling is a Brazilian conductor; he was principal conductor and artistic director of the Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo from 1997 to 2008.
Great-nephew of composer Arnold Schoenberg and conductor Arthur Bodanzky.
Under his direction, OSESP made two North American tours and two European tours, performing, among other halls, at Avery Fisher Hall in New York and the Musikverein in Vienna. He also traveled several times throughout South America and undertook two major tours of Brazil.
