About

Reggie Miller is a former American basketball player, known for his 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers, where he became the team's primary offensive reference. Renowned for his three-point shooting and ability to decide games under pressure, he earned the nickname “Knick Killer” due to his rivalry with the New York Knicks and iconic playoff performances.

Miller was a five-time All-Star and was named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team; he won Olympic gold in 1996 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. At retirement he led the career list for three-pointers made, a mark since surpassed by several players.

A history graduate of UCLA, where he left records and had his No. 31 retired, Miller also produced memorable NBA moments — such as his 57-point game against the Charlotte Hornets and the eight points in 8.9 seconds sequence against the Knicks. His importance to the Pacers was recognized with the retirement of his jersey and his reputation as the franchise’s greatest player.

After his playing career he has worked as a commentator for TNT and CBS Sports, remaining a public figure in basketball and preserving a legacy tied to long-range shooting and big performances in decisive games.
