Tania Cagnotto is one of Italy’s most prominent contemporary divers. The daughter of two high-level athletes, she built a long, consistent career in both individual and synchronized events, especially on the 1 m and 3 m springboards, becoming a leading figure on the European and world circuits.

Over her career she won numerous medals at the European Championships, setting continental podium records and collecting twenty European medals, including several synchronized titles with Francesca Dallapé. At the world level she stood on the podium at successive World Championships and in 2015 won the gold medal on the 1 m springboard, a historic milestone for her country.
