About

Anne-Sophie Lapix is a French journalist and television presenter, best known for anchoring France’s main 8 p.m. newscast, a role she held prominently from 2017 to 2025. A graduate of Sciences Po Bordeaux and the Centre de formation des journalistes in Paris, Lapix built her career at outlets including Bloomberg, LCI, M6, TF1 and Canal+, where she became known for her firmness in political interviews.

Over the course of her career she presented several high-profile programs — among them Zone interdite, Sept à Huit, Dimanche+ and the talk show C à vous — gaining editorial experience and contributing to more than six thousand editions at LCI. Her incisive approach to debates and interviews frequently provoked reactions across the political spectrum, establishing her as a demanding and influential interviewer in public discourse.

In recognition of her career, she was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters (Officer) in 2020. From autumn 2025 she planned a new professional phase at another major broadcaster and in radio, continuing to hold spaces for interviews and coverage of major events.
