About
Edele Lynch is an Irish pop singer, songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the girl group B*Witched, in which she performs alongside her twin sister Keavy. Emerging on the pop scene in the 1990s, she rose to prominence with the formation of the quartet that achieved international commercial success as part of the wave of British and Irish pop groups of that era.
After the group temporarily disbanded, Edele shifted part of her work to songwriting and production, joining the team at the Xenomania studio. She co-wrote tracks for other British pop acts, contributing to releases by artists such as Girls Aloud and Sugababes, which expanded her role beyond stage performance.
In the late 2000s she and her sister launched a duo project—initially called Ms Lynch and later Barbarellas—before returning to activity with B*Witched. She also took part in Irish reality television, winning Celebrity Apprentice Ireland and competing on Celebrity Big Brother, appearances that boosted her public profile.
Her career combines work as a group performer, behind-the-scenes songwriting and media appearances, establishing a multifaceted presence in contemporary Irish pop.
