Isabelle Morizet, known by the stage name Karen Cheryl, is a multifaceted presence in French culture: she began as a variety singer in the 1970s and 1980s before moving into television, radio and sitcom acting. Her musical career shone during the disco/neo‑yéyé era, with French versions of international hits and successful singles such as “Si…” and “Oh ! Chéri chéri,” which earned her gold records and frequent television appearances.
From the 1980s she broadened her role in broadcast media, hosting children’s and entertainment shows — including Vitamine, La Lucarne d’Amilcar and Hugo Délire/Les Délires d’Hugo — and later joining TF1 series such as Les Filles d’à côté and Ma voyante préférée. Under her real name she built a radio career, notably at Europe 1.
